Fluorescent lamps are the popular choice for businesses since they are more efficient than

Incandescent lamps are what many describe as standard light bulbs. The incandescent lamp is widely used

HID's or High Intensity Discharge lamps are a general group of lamps consisting of mercury, metal halide
and high pressure sodium. They are commonly used for warehouses and outdoor applications.
Halogen lamps can last two or three times longer than standard lamps because they are filled with chemically
active halogen gases that preserve the filament. However, halogen lamps get hotter than regular incandescent
lamps which is essential to their long life.
