SDSA Surge Protective Devices (SPD)

The Square D SDSA Secondary Surge Arresters provides lightning and surge 
protection up to 40,000 amps, hard-wired devices are ideal for OEM?s, 
residential retrofit, and multi-unit construction projects.


-  Maintenance-free, Long-life ? Non-replaceable internal fuse link provides 
protection against varisitor-damaging sustained voltages. And the housing is 
made of a high temperature thermoplastic to ensure reliability in indoor and 
outdoor applications. 
-  Metal Oxide Varistor Design ? Provides response time less than 50 nanoseconds 
   and provides lower clamping voltage than traditional gas tube arresters 

-  Mounting Brackets ? Two unique mounting brackets are available to make 
   mounting easy for OEM and Multi-metering applications 

-  LED Status Indicator ? Provide easy visual indication of device?s operational 
   status 

-  UL and cUL Listed ? Listed to UL 1449-Second Edition for TVSS and secondary 
   surge arrester 

-  ANSI and IEEE ? Approved for use in category B and C locations for use on 
   grounded systems only
